Korean Young Designers’ Field Critic & Feedback Trip to MILANO & PARIS

13 young Korean designers, 5-day workshop with a Maestro of Italian design in Milan, 4-days of full immersion in design for the January edition of Maison & Objet in Paris. This is the Ark of Noah, a project launched by UMZIKIM Inc. in collaboration with KIDP – Korea Institute of Design Promotion that until 23rd of January will see thirteen young creatives live closely with the design Made in Europe.

The journey began in Italy, at Archiproducts Milano, with a 5-day  workshop together with Stefano Giovannoni, one of the Masters of the Italian design, who has brought his testimony and experience to assess the young designers’ work. This whole experience ends in France where these 13 designers will visit the fair Maison&Obet, the major event for professionals working in the art of living in all its rich and varied expressions.

UMZIKIM is growing as High-End design product brand which rarely happens in Korea. In fact, even though they are young and still a small brand UMZIKIM is the only mass-product brand in Korea who can introduce own products in European high-end design market such as Le Bon Marche or collaborate with brands like Paul Smith.
