After the last two editions, inspired by the connection with the earth and the vital role of water, this year, Archiproducts Milano offers a new visual and tactile experience: Aria. A medium for connection. Here, air manifests as a living entity, transforming the environment into an ethereal and vibrant dimension in the name of movement, lightness and transparency.
Aria is a design exploration in partnership with Samsung – global leader in technological innovation – which, through its WindFree™ technology, redefines the concept of air conditioning. Thousands of micro-holes diffuse air evenly, eliminating direct airflow and enveloping the space in a gentle, seamless comfort. This innovation blends design and technology, turning the interior project into a unique and connected experience for everyone who steps inside.
The 2025 project layout will be officially unveiled during Milano Design Week. As always, the event will take place at Via Tortona 31!
The concept
Aria is a sensory experience where light, color and material interact to shape an immersive space. Iridescent materials, soft pastel tones and layered light effects transform the environment into a multi-dimensional setting that invites exploration and connection.
The project is rooted in the idea of material not only as a physical element but, above all, as a medium for connection – a language capable of forging invisible bonds between space, people and perceptions. In Aria, this vision takes form through layers, movement and light, transforming each surface into a constantly shifting sensory experience. Reflective and translucent surfaces capture and transform light, creating an iridescent effect. The color palette – an interplay of neutrals and shimmering accents – enhances the space’s depth and three-dimensionality, while the juxtaposition of materials, such as iridescent metals, glossy surfaces and fluid textiles, draws a path that is anything but predictable.
“We reimagined space as an environment in transformation,” explain Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto of Studiopepe, “where surfaces vibrate, light defines volumes, and material dissolves into perception. Semi-transparent and reflective materials create an interplay of depth and suspension, where architecture expands and contracts depending on the angle and interaction with light. In this scenario, the visitor is not merely an observer, but an active participant in a fluid and immersive narrative in which the boundaries between the physical and the intangible dissolve, revealing a new sensory dimension”.
Iridescence interacts with reflections
The atmosphere is surreal, almost otherworldly, evoking a futuristic aesthetic. The iridescent accents of the furnishings interact with reflective surfaces, amplifying geometric contrasts and creating a dynamic, multi-layered visual effect with playful bursts of color.
Objects and finishes are designed to create a multi-sensory experience where light and matter continuously shape perception. This effect is obtained through metallic surfaces and iridescent blocks with fluid forms by Materica, lustrous finishes of the Dooor textile doors, mirrored lighting by Davide Groppi, iridescent 3M surfaces featured in the 3M Capsule installation, mirrored glass of the Desalto table designed by Francesco Rota and the shimmering finish of the Accento lamp.
Contrasting metallic accents with a soft pastel palette
The entire space is immersed in pastels, contrasting the metallic accents of the furniture and lighting.
From the pale pink and amethyst of the Kriskadecor aluminum chains to the high-gloss metal and white of Reda Amalou‘s furniture, the palette extends to the solid Lipari hue of Dedon‘s outdoor collection by Jean-Marie Massaud, the powder pink and natural wood of Morica‘s furniture, the Portuguese pink marble of the Ghidini 1961 table by Lorenza Bozzoli, the crisp white of Parla‘s pieces, the lime yellow of the Vismara Design foosball table by Bellavista & Piccini, the silky gray of Teporia‘s outdoor collection, the signature white of the Brionvega Radiofonografo by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, the celadon green of the Nicoline sofa, and the soft grays and purples of Pulkra‘s concrete furniture by Stormo Studio, Luca Pevere, and Pio & Tito Toso. These delicate yet striking chromatisms play with the reflections of polished metals, from Yet Design Studio‘s chairs and tables to Trizo 21‘s pendant lights and Terzani‘s sculptural lighting compositions.
Gradient effect and subtle variations in opacity
Gradient wallpapers and subtle shifts in opacity shape a dreamlike, immersive atmosphere. The gradient effect appears throughout the space, as seen in the laser-perforated Alcantara curtains, the green-to-yellow transition of Famarella ceramic wall tiles, the soft blue-to-gray gradient of Tecnografica wallpapers, the frosted opacity of Vistosi lamps, and the Brionvega Totem’s exclusive 2025 finish, between violet and sky blue.
Layers and movement
Air is further explored through the interplay of light fabrics moving in space. In the building’s central area, cascading curtains and translucent House of Lyria fabrics enhance the dreamlike setting, while the sculptural, fluid silhouettes of Norr11 furniture evoke movement.
The theme of lightness and movement is echoed in the custom pattern created by Studiopepe for Wall&Decò wallpaper, depicting ethereal female figures floating in space; the upper-level outdoor terrace, covered with a tent gazebo by Sprech; and the curved walls of the ground-floor bar, enveloped in coated foam by Sixinch.
Immersive surfaces and lighting
Lighting and surfaces complete the fully immersive experience. Studiopepe’s sculptural work for the Swedish brand Pholc reinforces the link between form and light; the illuminated Dresswall ceiling guides visitors through a fluid, atmospheric journey, while the Polypiù colored polycarbonate walls enhance depth and dimension.
The BTicino Smart Apartment
The BTicino Smart Apartment returns to Archiproducts Milano, offering visitors a firsthand experience of a fully connected home. Lights, automation systems, sockets, temperature, and video intercom can be controlled locally and remotely via app or voice commands through Amazon, Google, and Apple assistants.
This intuitive technology transforms a traditional system into a smart one in just a few simple steps without any construction work or modifications to existing installations.
RRD, at Archiproducts Milano, a showcase of outerwear excellence
At Archiproducts Milano, design meets technology and the glamour of RRD – Roberto Ricci Designs, the Tuscan brand that redefined the language of outerwear. During Milan Design Week, the Archiproducts team will wear ultra-minimalist garments crafted from high-tech fabrics engineered to move like a second skin.
The remarkable story of RRD began in the late 80s between Grosseto and the shores of Maui, where the young windsurfing champion Roberto Ricci, driven by his deep passion for water sports, absorbed the wisdom of surfing gurus and crafted his first boardwear – ultra-minimalist garments crafted from high-tech fabrics. Success was immediate. In 1995, Ricci and creative director Roberto Bardini expanded their vision, launching a clothing brand that applied the same relentless pursuit of innovation from water sports to high-tech apparel. Performance-driven design fused with advanced technology became the hallmark of the RRD brand—an approach encapsulated by the term Perf-Romance, which merges technical excellence with the culture of beauty.
Each piece in the collection is stripped of the superfluous and reinterpreted through a techno-tailored lens: precision cuts, breathable and antibacterial high-tech fabrics, seamless construction, bonded and thermally welded finishes, and glamorous silhouettes in perfect Italian style – all paired with cutting-edge performance materials.
FIUGGI: The Water of Beauty at Archiproducts Milano
With a centuries-old legacy renowned worldwide as the water of beauty and well-being, Fiuggi now enters the design world. An installation at Archiproducts Milano presents the new bottle design, part of a relaunch strategy following the recent acquisition of the historic Italian brand by LMDV Capital, owned by Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio.
Acqua Fiuggi flows from two natural springs in the Lazio Apennines, with purifying, anti-inflammatory, and anti-aging properties recognized for nearly a thousand years. Now, redefining itself as a symbol of refined living and holistic well-being, the brand introduces its new visual identity, debuting at Archiproducts Milano during Milan Design Week. A mini version of the bottle will be available for visitors.
Its vintage-inspired lines pay homage to over eight centuries of history, reflecting the transparency and movement of water—a perfect alignment with the Aria theme: A Medium for Connection.
