Room 11 – Design and Innovation at Archiproducts Milano 2024

In the 2024 edition of Archiproducts Milano, titled “Aqua. A design exploration”, water is not merely a metaphor but a guiding force shaping every space. In “Room 11,” the liquid element materializes through materials, textures, and forms that evoke continuity between design and nature. Each component within the environment tells a story. The DS-1025 TERRAZZA, Modular leather sofa by de Sede, with its lines reminiscent of natural terraces sculpted by water, becomes a symbol of comfort and a connection to nature. Alongside it, the MAXI CLAY, Oval table with MDF-coated top by Desalto, strikes a balance between material solidity and the sinuosity of its forms, while the CUBE, Fabric chair with lucite backrest by Caroline Chao, adds an ethereal touch, evoking the lightness of water in motion.

Tactile and reflective materials amplify the immersive sensation. ALCANTARA® Twilight 5240 and ALCANTARA® Master 5015, with their exquisite surfaces, reinterpret the transparency and luminous refraction of water, creating an enveloping sensory experience. On the floor, Turim, Polypropylene flooring by De Dimora, echoes the organic flow of currents, while light takes center stage with the GRANDE ALTO, Table lamp by Jaune Fabrique, and VOLUM, Suspension lamp by Lodes, creating evocative plays of reflections and shadows.

Decorative details complete the narrative, such as the TIFFANY, Cast iron radiator by Scirocco H, blending functionality with retro elegance, and the METEORITI collection by Vesta Furniture, where marble and glass sculptures narrate stories of earth and light. The FUSTI collection by Vesta Furniture, stackable storage units resembling tree trunks, evoke the natural rhythm of forest landscapes, adding modularity and functionality to the setting. Technological innovation finds its place with the DVM Chiller – CASSETTA 360 by Samsung Climate Solutions, an integrated climate control system ensuring comfort without compromising aesthetics, and the LỚP BIG SQUARE by BằNG, a sculptural lamp that uses reflections and transparency to simulate movement and depth. In this journey between aesthetics and functionality, “Room 11” invites visitors to immerse themselves in a design experience that reflects the theme of Aqua in its purest essence. Fluidity is evident in color choices, materials, and the interaction of elements, offering a contemporary reinterpretation of interior design.
