In Room 6 of the Archiproducts Milano showroom, the 2024 edition of Milan Design Week, “Aqua. A Design Exploration”, comes to life as a tribute to the fluidity, transparency, and vitality of water. Here, design is in constant transformation, merging innovation, aesthetics, and functionality in a sensory journey that involves every element. BTicino, with its Smarther2, leads the way in home innovation by introducing a connected thermostat that simplifies home energy management. With an intuitive control app and compatibility with major voice assistants, Smarther2 combines comfort and efficiency, maintaining a sleek, contemporary design. Similarly, Living Now with Netatmo by BTicino, brings smart home capabilities to traditional installations, transforming them into connected systems without altering installation habits, blending aesthetics and functionality.
The contributions of Dovain Studio add a unique imprint to the space. The La Peregrina pendant lamp by Art Deco, creates a sophisticated light point, while the Game floor lamp interprets lighting in a playful, contemporary way. The Pipa sofa and armchair, with their sculptural forms, offer a sense of theatrical comfort, while the Baleen coffee table, minimalist and artisanal, brings a touch of refined craftsmanship. The walls of Room 6 are adorned with Cipria paint by Paint Up, a delicate, water-repellent tone that evokes elegance and brightness, perfectly enhancing the space without overwhelming it. This paint, reminiscent of the softness of powder, creates a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere.
Casamance contributes with Casual 3 M fabric, a linen finish that frames surfaces with lightness, bringing a natural texture that mirrors the fluidity of water. The Velvet rug by De Dimora adds warmth and depth to the space, creating a fascinating contrast with the more rigid and structured elements. At the center of the room, the Issey vase by Fornice Objects stands as a tribute to fragility and transparency, evoking the fluidity of a wave with its sculptural pleats. Lớp Big Square by BằNG, with its layered acrylic structure, generates a play of reflections that emulate the rippling movement of water, giving the environment a dynamic and engaging look. The result is a fluid, multifaceted space where every element interacts with the environment, offering a multisensory experience that embodies the essence of “Aqua. A Design Exploration”.
