The revolutionary 3D experience in the design world at the Fuorisalone

31/03/2016 – You seen them on the web, in magazines, at the Salone and Fuorisalone, and you fall in love. Chairs, sofas, tables, lamps, design objects. But how would they look in your home? Archiproducts and Sayduck invite you to the Fuorisalone to discover a new response to that question. In the Yellow House, the structure hosted by Materials Village in Superstudio Piu’s Art Garden, you can experiment with a totally fun, unprecedented way to furnish your home. Augmented Reality will be the word of the day!

Augmented Reality allows you to virtually see an object in 3D, contextualized in a space, real or virtual, using a smartphone or free App. Just as if it were in front of your very eyes. It also allows you to move around to change your perspective in real time.

Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality will be the biggest innovations in upcoming years. In the ‘Yellow House’ you’ll be able to play with this incredible technology.

Don’t miss out on the chance to try out this revolutionary 3D experience in the world of design!
The event is scheduled from 12 to 17 April in Archiproducts and Sayduck’s Yellow House, in the Art Garden of Superstudio Piu, in via Tortona 27.

Diego Grandi + Kriska Decor for Archiproducts Milano

An aluminum mesh composition covers the facade of the turn-of-the-century building set to host the first co-net-working design space in Milan

30/03/2016 – A composition of incredibly lightweight aluminum mesh, created by KriskaDecor and designed by Diego Grandi, covers the facade of the turn-of-the-century building set to host Archiproducts Milano, the first co-net-working design space in Milan.

Its address is via Tortona 31, in the heart of the new Milan, among art, fashion, design, and business. The inauguration will be held from April 11th, on the opening day of Milano Design Week 2016.

It certainly won’t be difficult to point out. Upon looking up, it will be instantly visible: a precious, brilliant gold and black tent, composed of countless anodized aluminum chains. It will bear the mark of Diego Grandi’s pencil for Archiproducts Milano. A strong mark, characterized by graphic and geometric elements.

“It’s one of the few buildings which haven’t yet been restored – explains Enzo Maiorano, co-founder of Archiproducts – and which retains the heritage of the old Tortona. As there has not yet been a definitive intervention, we decided to embellish the facade to signal that something new is happening inside”.

The aluminum chains were furnished by KriskaDecor, the Spanish brand which invented the Kriska® aluminum chain and the special anodizing process which, by offering a wide range of colors, allows for the creation of truly unique compositions.

“The large-scale surface project highlights the entrance and outlines Archiproducts’ ‘physical portal”, through which the web platform and virtual space manifests itself for the first time as a physical space. Starting from this physical aspect, the pattern suggests three-dimensionality through a series of two-dimensional backgrounds which conceptually recall the internal spaces.

The chromatic harmony and the depth perception evoke an ideal construction composed of volumes and boxes which develop as a sequence of infinite rooms”, Diego Grandi.

“The pattern which redesigns the facade – Enzo Maiorano continues – alludes to the passage from the web to the city. With this design, Diego Grandi has perfectly interpreted the linguistic caliber of the Archiproducts Milano space, the generating principle of which is in the three coordinates of the three-dimensional Euclidean space. The three axes which generate the infinite sequence of volumes allude to this passage, from a virtual space to a real space”.

Archiproducts opens its first co-net-working design space in Milan

The place where Architects and Designers find inspiration and information to design, build, and furnish

1/3/2016 – Archiproducts is opening a new Space in the city: in Zona Tortona, the beating heart of the new Milan, among art, fashion, design, and business.

It’s called Archiproducts Milano. The address is via Tortona 31, between Superstudio and the Nhow; just steps from the Armani Museum, from the Atelier and Laboratories of the Scala theatre, and from BASE, the new hybrid space for culture and creativity in the ex Ansaldo.

Its web address is milano.archiproducts.com

A spacious, turn-of-the-century apartment, 500 square meters with terraces, decorated stuccoed ceilings, and antique oak herringbone floors; direct access to via Tortona and four windows which face the entrance of MUDEC, Milan’s Museum of Culture.

From the web to the city: Archiproducts Milano is a hub in which Architects, Designers, and Brands in search of inspiration and opportunities meet to collaborate on projects, and value sharing and networking.

“Live, work, design” is the Fuorisalone 2016 event which the space will host until 30 June. The spacious apartment in via Tortona 31 will be set up as a place in which one can live, work, and meet with others, with furniture and objects by Archiproducts’ international partners: Desalto, Saba Italia, Vibia, Ton, NORR11, Ethimo, Simes, Alpes Inox, Vitrum, Hey Sign, Dieffebi, Kriska Décor, Stellar Works, Buxkin, Roofingreen, Velux, Kiasmo, and Iittala, as a backdrop.

A large home in which one can work, or a workplace in which one can feel at home.

Diego Grandi intervenes on the building facade, leaving a strong graphic and geometric mark.

It will also be the editorial headquarters of Archiproducts. It will host Sayduck, a startup specializing in Augmented Reality, and Velux’s “Rethink the daylight” Academy. It will be set up for events, light co-working, meetings, previews, and product expos. A place dedicated to the Architects of Milan and the entire world.

Archiproducts Milano also kicks off the invaluable alliance with Elle Décor Italia, online and offline, which will make this space a touchpoint for events, exhibitions, and happenings, during Milan Design Week and after. A harmonious and complementary synergy built on the choice of themes, partners, and styling, with the consolidated experience of Elle Décor’s editorial staff.

Archiproducts Milano also stems from the collaboration with the Milano Space Makers team, a leading group for the scouting and management of the most beautiful locations in Zona Tortona, as well as an engine for the cultural renewal of the area. And with the collaboration of BASE Milano and the MUDEC STORE, which have teamed up with Archiproducts Milano as the sector’s specialized cluster for many activities.

Numerous synergies and alliances which create a system and network in a district of Milan, the new Zona Tortona, which will astonish and amaze all with its capacity to attract creative energy!
